At Happy Dog we understand that your dogs are more than just pets, they are cherished members of your family. We also understand that they may face physical challenges whether due to aging, injury or specific health conditions.

That’s where we come in – providing canine hydrotherapy and massage services in Adelaide, South Australia to enhance their well-being and quality of life.

We’re so grateful to have Kristen from Happy Dog Hydrotherapy as part of Echo’s rehab team! After Echo’s FHO surgery earlier this year, she’s been a key part of his recovery journey — helping him rebuild strength, confidence, and mobility every step of the way. Kristen’s calm, patient manner and deep understanding of canine rehab make such a difference. She treats every session with care and attention, tailoring the work perfectly to Echo’s needs and cheering him on through every milestone. Thanks to her support (alongside his wider rehab team), Echo’s progress has been nothing short of amazing. Watching him walk, play, and enjoy life again fills my heart with gratitude. Thank you, Kristen, for being such a compassionate and skilled part of Echo’s recovery!

We have seen great improvements in Boof since we’ve started hydrotherapy with Kristen. He has a crooked paw in which his arthritis is typically more noticeable, especially with his old age. Since starting hydrotherapy, Boof is walking much more comfortably and is overall happier. Kristen is the perfect fit for Boof (and us as a family). It’s very clear that she loves what she does - she’s amazing at what she does and cares about each and every one of the dogs that walk through her door. We rave about how great hydrotherapy is and recommend it to anyone that we can. Thank you Kristen!

I am so excited to introduce this new family-owned business in Marino; Happy Dog. Kristen is a certified massage and canine hydrotherapist and a member of the Australian Canine Rehabilitation Association. Her brand new facility is equipped with a state-of-the-art underwater treadmill. Getting dogs with poor mobility back on their feet is one of the most rewarding things I do at Edna's Vet. I am thrilled that there is now someone as skilled and delightful as Kristen to help them even more, right here on our doorstep. Happy Dog = Happy Vet too!
Happy Dog Hydrotherapy has been a turning point - not just for our dog but also for us as a family. We couldn't be more grateful for the incredible care and expertise that Kristen has afforded us. Our dog finds handling extremely stressful and has a deep mistrust of people, but Kristen treats our dog Niimi with such understanding, patience and compassion - it is clear that she truly gets what it means to work with animals who carry emotional scars. She never once rushed the process and took the time to build trust with Niimi, ensuring that she was comfortable to approach the water on her terms. Her sessions are built around Niimi's comfort levels in a safe and supportive environment. Kristen celebrates the tiniest of wins with us and is a big advocate for Niimi in her care plan with her other practitioners. For anyone with an animal who requires extra understanding - whether it be from trauma, anxiety or fear I can't recommend Kristen highly enough. She offers so much more than therapy. She offers healing, at the pace of the animal with empathy at the core. She has helped shape Niimi into who she is meant to be and for that we are so grateful.

Kristen is not only one of the kindest and most caring people around but she has a vast and extensive knowledge in her field. Which shows in her work. Our sweet boy was really struggling with his mobility and weight until we were recommended by several people to try hydrotherapy. It has made such a difference to our Buster. He is thriving from seeing her twice a week. We cannot recommend her enough!

We were recommended Happy Dog Hydrotherapy by our dog (Olive’s) physio at Sash after she broke her elbow. Olive is quite a shy dog at first so we are always nervous for her to meet new people but Kristen took things slowly and made sure Olive always felt comfortable. Olive quickly began loving her weekly hydrotherapy sessions and we saw a huge improvement around the 6-8 week mark. Olive was able to build strength and confidence back after her accident through hydrotherapy. We are so glad we took her and grateful for everything Olive got out of her sessions.

Cody loves his weekly sessions with Kristen. Kristen is well trained in what she does and will work in conjunction with your dog's vet or physio, she is caring and compassionate and treats your dog like her own. I would highly recommend Happy Dog Hydrotherapy to anyone considering this option for their baby.
